Gemini
Google's assistant, at ease with long inputs, images and questions that need Google's own services.
FrontierGoogle

In short
Useful when the work already lives in Google's tools, or when a question mixes text with images and long documents.
What it can do
- Conversation, drafting and summarising
- Questions about images, files and long inputs
- Connections to Google services in the app
- Gemini models for developers through Google's API
Limits to plan for
- It can state a wrong fact with confidence: check figures and claims against a source
- Data handling depends on the account type and its settings, so check them before sharing client material
- Features differ between personal accounts, Workspace plans and the API
What it is
Gemini is Google's family of AI models and the assistant that carries the name. It runs in the Gemini app, inside Google Workspace on supported plans, and through Google's API, where the same family also powers image and video models listed in this directory.
Where it fits in a creative workflow
It suits work that already sits in Google's tools: summarising a long thread, drafting from documents, or asking about a set of images. Treat its drafts as material for a person to shape.
Why it matters for your brand
Google's AI answers draw on what the web says about you. Clear, consistent business facts on your own site and across trusted listings are what help them describe you correctly.
Before you commit
Confirm facts against the original source and keep a person on every claim that reaches a client or the public.
